Noosa and the Everglades

We arrived in Noosa and checked into a pretty chilled out hostel on the edge of a sea river in a place called Gympie.
It's great to not be in a city. We are based along side a sea water river which we kayaked in. With the tide out we could stand on small sand islands that appear. We watch the local wildlife with a huge population of Pelicans, stingrays and washed up jelly fish on display.
We head down to the beach and into the Noosa national park. After walking for 5 mins we spot our first koala clinging on to a branch! The walk takes all through tje coast and thick forest. We spot snakes but sadly no other kolas. The coast walk takes us to 'Hells Point' which is the windiest cliff edge I've stood on. Quite an exfoliation!
The beach is great with good surfing spots. Sea is still cold here as we ride the waves. Bring on the Northern territory sea temperatures.

Our next stop was requested by Sam and has something to do with turtle obsession...
