Throw back Thursday (in NZ). Where are Cj's flip flops now?

As we leave January and enter February we are beginning to  realise we only have roughly 2 months left:/

So we have already started to reminisce about the time we spent in Asia. We have decided to write a throw back blog post as we remember some real gems, which we don't think we have necessarily mentioned in our blog or really went into a lot of detail.

1. We joined a game of spoons in Laos. Cj started the game off with luck whilst i lost the first few rounds and had to do a few shots. We joined two people which later turned into 8 of us (an american, english, dutch and germans) It's a card game that involves spoons and drink.  It turned into a pre-drink as we moved onto Sukura bar for a free drink after spoons.

2. The people we travelled with in Vietnam. We met these guys (1 guy and 3 girls from England) at our first stop Hanoi as they were staying in our dorm room. We ended up following each other down the coast so we met up in Hue and Hoi 'an with a few nights out. 

3. Dance off on pub street. A local Cambodian was pulling off some dance moves and Cj pushed me to challenge him so i pulled out a scorp (cheer move) he didnt even try and attempt.

6. Weird icecream thing that i bought in Laos, it turned out to be just ice we also made this mistake in japan too. 

7. The day Cj chopped his beard off in Bali (it's ok, he's growing it again)

8. Eating a scorpion on Koh San road, Thailand. 

9. Moped taxi  scare on our way to the club in Hoi an. Everyone suddenly veered off in different directions, including us. Apparently its to avoid suspicious police. 

10. Cj getting his first tattoo in Singapore and meeting the lovely Jen who was his tattooist. 

11. Getting caught in the rain in Penang malaysia. We had no coats and we were wearing flip flops. We ran across the road and i stacked it with a skid and ripped my trousers:( 

12. Cj's parasol moment in Malaysia. It was raining so we asked our hostel in Mallaka for an umbrella. The guy gave Cj a huge parasol so we had to walk round town with it.

13. Hard rock cafe dinner in Mallaka. 

14. My first time riding a moped. 

15. Cj's size 5 stolen flip flops. He looked like an idiot in size 5's so i have them. 

16.  My trainer mare. I bought some knock off Nikes in China to replace the one's i came with, i threw them and now i have some cheap crappy one's i bought for £2 in malaysia. My feet are more worse off now. 

17. Cj's knock off Brietling watch from Cambodia which looks good but stopped working after a few hours

18. Sam's horrendous long bus journey from kampong cham to Siem reap (dodgy stomach from some dodgy food)

19. Seven eleven banana bread

20. The dogs of bali. They are so territorial that they literally  ran after us growling until we past a certain point, everyday. 

21. The couple who weren't a couple that we befriended whilst tubing in Laos. 

22. Beer pong in Laos

23. Arriving at the club on koh san road half hour before it closes and trying so hard to stay in the club until the last possible moment. (curfew) 

24. Sam making jewelery on the bus from malaysia to Singapore

25. And lastly, Cj's flip flops

Where are they now. He's lost 5 pairs which include knock off's and stolen one's. How he loses them is a mystery, but on many occasions he's walked home shoeless.
